You will always be entitled to view, alter, correct and remove your personal data, free of charge.

• If you register for the IFB Newsletter, the following information will be kept in our database: first name (mandatory), name (mandatory), email address (mandatory), company name (mandatory) and the language of your choice. These data are used to send the required IFB Newsletter to you for the purpose of keeping you up to date on the services we offer by means of courses and networking opportunities. IFB will not retain the collected data for a longer period than legally permitted, and in any case not longer than is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes. The IFB Newsletter is and will remain free of charge. Visitors to www.ifbseminars.be can register for the IFB Newsletter through the website.
• If you register for a course, the following information will be kept in our database: first name (mandatory), name (mandatory), email address (mandatory), company name (mandatory) and the language of your choice, position (mandatory), telephone number (mandatory) and mobile number, company address (mandatory), VAT number (mandatory), PO required/not required, receive newsletter yes/no. These data are used to enable the IFB network to work for you as an IFB participant, to confirm your participation in courses, to invite you to participate in courses, to invoice your participation in courses. We only use the collected data for the purposes for which we received it.
• If you register for participation in the IFB Life Science Management Course and therefore wish to be part of the IFB network, the following information will be kept in our database: first name (mandatory), name (mandatory), email address (mandatory), company name (mandatory) and the language of your choice, position (mandatory), telephone number (mandatory) and mobile number, company address (mandatory), VAT number (mandatory), PO required/not required, receive newsletter yes/no. Through this subscription you enter the IFB network until you decide to remove you from this network. These data are used to confirm your participation in courses, to invite you to participate in courses, to invoice your participation in courses, and to enable the IFB network to work optimally for you as an IFB member/participant. You will be able to view the following on the protected part of our website after login:
  • The online IFB network booklet
  • The annual photographs of the last 30 years
  • The presentations that you can download
  We only use the collected data for the purposes for which we have received it.

Limitations of liability
IFB will not be liable to you (whether under the law of contact, the law of torts or otherwise) in relation to the contents of, or use of, or otherwise in connection with, this website.

Participant:
If you need to cancel, only cancelations in writing will be accepted (mail, fax or email).

• Notifications received 3 months before the start of an event, get refunded for 100% minus an administrative fee of 100 euro.
• All notifications received between 1 and 3 months before the start of the event, get refunded for 50% minus an administrative fee of 100 euro.
• Cancellations requests received less than 1 month before the start of the event won't be refunded.
• Replacement by a colleague is allowed upon notification to IFB before the start of the course.

IFB:
Replacement of top speaker or postponement of event, due to reasons beyond our control, will not be refunded.

IFB is committed to protect your personal data.

No data transfer to third parties
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties or disclosed. We will at all times respect the confidentiality of the data within our organisation. To ensure that your data is protected from, among other things, unauthorised access, unlawful use, loss or unauthorised alterations, the services make use of appropriate security techniques and procedures. All persons who may have access to your data on behalf of IFB are bound by confidentiality. We apply a username and password policy for all our systems; we use pseudonymisation and encryption of personal data where necessary; we make backups of the personal data to enable us to restore this in case of physical or technical incidents; we test and evaluate our measures on a regular basis. Further, we will not transfer any data provided by you to third parties, unless this is required and/ or permitted by law.

Retention period
IFB will not keep personal data longer than is necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or pursuant to a legal obligation. Your data will therefore be kept in respect of the activity and the duration of the IFB network. You are at all times entitled to retrieve, alter or correct your data, or have it removed.
